Recently a PhD graduate, I am currently working as an AI Research Scientist at AIRBUS Central R&T. My PhD at Université d'Artois at the Computer Science Research Lab (CRIL) at Lens, France was co-supervised by Bertrand Mazure, Karim Tabia and Fahima Cheikh-Alili. My thesis titled Reasoning with explanations and application to multi-label classification fits in the axis of Knowledge Representation & Reasoning / Explainable AI.

My thesis work focuses on generating human understandable explanations for black box models. We propose a methodology for explaining the decision function of predictive models by using the symbolic AI.

I got my BS and MS in Computer Science (with a focus on: Artificial Intelligence) from University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algiers. I worked on Natural Language Processing for my graduation project under the supervision of Ahmed Guessoum.
